Field Day: June 27th and 28th - Sesquicentennial Park Retreat Center

Field day officially starts at 2 PM Saturday, we will meet about 11 AM - 12 noon to get antennas and stations set up. The antennas will be tricky... we need people to come in early to help set them up. We will be using the CARC CERT trailer as well (a good chance to see our new equipment).

Admission to the park: $2 adults; $1.25 SC seniors; age 15 & younger free

Hours: 7 AM to 9 PM. The combination to the front gate will be provided for after-hours entry/exit.

In-park Directions: The first road on the left after the ranger's house is access to a medium-sized parking lot (visible from the road). The retreat building is nearest the right-rear corner as you enter.

There are 11 rooms, all with single beds (requiring that you supply your own linen, blankets, and pillows). The number of beds ranges from 2 to 4 per room. There is a men's wing and a women's wing (which in our case only affects whose shower/restroom facilities are there).

Room assignments:
• First choice goes to operators
• Second choice goes to volunteers with assigned tasks (safety committee, cooks, etc)
• There will be a bachelor room (4 beds) for those who just need a place to sleep.
